Looking for a good mineral make up. I'm looking for people that have similar skin and experience with products?

There is so much out there to choose from. I'm looking for a foundation/concealer type make up with medium coverage, but covers nicely without being so obvious. Need something for fair, sensitive, combination ( more oily as the day goes on but a few dry spots) acne prone skin. I'm looking for a drugstore or department store brand mainly, but am also open to ordering options. Please feel free to give awesome elaborate answers! LOLLooking for a good mineral make up. I'd try Everyday Minerals: https://www.everydayminerals.com/

I tried it and I really like their stuff!

They have a lot of colours to choose from, and I am very fair so most companies don't carry my colour but they do. It goes on nicely and isn't cakey at all.

They offer a 'free sample' so you can find your right foundation shade (it's really like 3$, but that's just for shipping and you get three colours and two other samples of your choice).

All natural minerals, and they are very reasonably priced.

If you don't want to order online, I'd try Physician's Formula. They have organic ingredients and their stuff is also hypoallergenic. It's good for your skin and also has nice coverage. :]

I hope this helps; good luck! :]Looking for a good mineral make up. I'm looking for people that have similar skin and experience with products?
i've tried everything in drug stores and none of it has worked, you might not be as pale as i am. i'm literally paler than an albino. i met one at the store i work at once, and i have really sensitive skin and it does the same thing as you. i've tried bareminerals. it works its just a tad bit to dark. i dust it over with white heat from hot topic, it doesn't hurt my skin, just dust it lightly.

a really good and cheap ordering option is coastal scents. they give you samples for $2.oo, they are pretty giving in that department. they last me for a while. it goes great as a concealer and foundation. you can get the ______glow for a fairer color or the same thing without the glow in it for a bit darker. well, not as 'glowy'. good luck

okay you have combination skin. I do as well but it is manageable, trust me. always wash your face twice a day i use proactiv. next use blotting tissues over the oily skin, they work like a charm! i usually use them in the mornings after washing my face. next use a toner this will take care of pimples and oily skin. now use an oil free moisturizer, this will treat the areas of skin which are dry but keep the oily skin under control. now its time for foundation. i love clinique it works well when covering blemishes. also for a concealer use a color like green, for pimples that are red, green acts as a contrast and tones down the redness. i would not recommend mineral makeup, because it just doesnt look natural over pimples and oily skin.
From my experience, I have tried only one type of mineral makeup from the drugstore. It wasn't love at first sight- I used Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Mineral Loose Powder, and this is a negative recommendation.

My sister, however, uses Bare Minerals. She got sucked in to the Sephora-promoted hype, and got it there. I think she likes it, but make sure to get color matched, because I think she got a shade too dark. You can always wait for deals at Ulta though, I think I've seen it in the ads for cheaper.
I'm a big fan of Leeza Gibbons' ';Sheer Cover'; mineral makeup.

It's completely weightless on your skin plus it comes with its own duo creme concealer which is a must for those of us who suffer from dark under eye circles. It hides them beautifully.

WIth Sheer Cover, you get an even toned flawless natural look.

Your skin looks healthy and radiant.

Be prepared to receive lots of compliments from your friends and coworkers!
I use Urban Decay. I have used bare minerals and was not fond of the results. I felt it made me look shiny and a little fake. Urban decay is very natural looking to me. I have not had any acne problems and it seems to suit my combination skin well. You can get this brand either at Sephora stores or order online through their website or beauty.com. If you have access to a Sephora it is a great store because you can try all the department store brand cosmetics without a salesperson.
I just bought Revlon Colorstay Mineral Foundation last night, and absolutely love it! It has stayed on all day, and I have very red skin on my nose and chin, and it covered it well. It cost me 12.99 at my local drugstore, but I'm sure it would be cheaper at one of the big discount stores like Wal Mart or Target. I have very fair skin, and this color 010 suits me perfectly . You may want to give it a try!
I use bare minerals..A little on the expensive side but totally worth it and it lasts a long time. I always use liquid foundation and I thought that a powder foundation would not work as well but it covers EVERYTHING and it feels so light on your face. it's amazing
