Do you have a favorite brand that you would recommend?Mineral makeup...Has anyone tried any of the different mineral make-up lines?
Bare Minerals could also be called Bare EscentualsMineral makeup...Has anyone tried any of the different mineral make-up lines?
i used bare minerals, and i have acne/scars, and i didn't really like it... it also made me break out more, even though it supposed to be really good for your skin...
I use the mineral powder foundation by Arbonne.
I love it. Kicking myself for not trying it sooner. It does cover minor blemishes well and it is good for you - (as opposed to most foundations)
Pure, safe and natural - you look air brushed and have a radiant finished touch... mine lasted over 7 months and I used it every day!
I have tried most all of the products listed above and they are all good. The one I am most satisfied with is the mineral foundation made by Bee-Luscious Cosmetics. It covers the best and is very comfortable to wear. Any of the good mineral makeups should help with your acne because the high quality mineral foundations are oil free. Check out Bee-Luscious online. I emailed them with the colors I thought I would like and they sent me some free samples to match my skin tones.
no thats okay lol its a good score! it just went up to 1.6 that means that 160 people voted it as a 5!
Thanks for voting
Bare Minerals is supposed to be good. I use Physician's Formula Mineral Wear from Target. It runs about 10-12 dollars. I am really happy with it.
i have tried bare minerals and its awesome : )
and I also just bought Pur Minerals (at ulta) and its a pressed form, foundation, powder and concealer in one and Im in love with it.. it was $24 :)
My daughter went to a store in the mall where they were giving make over with bare minerals. I don't know if it was because of her dark skin tone or what, but she looked very washed out and her skin looked dry.
She's 14 and doesn't have acne. She has very good skin actually. This stuff made her look like a dead person. Maybe it was the person applying it to her, but neither of us liked it.
I have tried Avons mineral foundation. I found that if you are getting it to cover up acne it is not so good. I was going to send it back but I also have occasional red patches on my chest and to minimize these it work really well. If your skin is basically clear you would probably like it. But get color samples, if possible, before committing to buying a whole container. I bought mine in a color I normally use and it was too pale for my face. kinda gave me a pastey look. good luck!
The only brand of mineral makeup that I've tried so far is Bare Escentuals, I think its great. I have a little bit of redness on my face and the foundation combined with the concealer is great. I'm not sure that I would try anything other brand. As far as acne goes, I don't know if it helps clear acne but I have sensitive skin and I barely get a pimple since using it.
Bare Mineral is good, but pricey---there are other lines that works just as well.
I tell you, people with acne scaring, it may cover redness but not holes in your face...
Mineral makeup mission is to even up your skin tones, and that it does.
I have dark spots and it covers them wonderfully, plus is light and feels like you don't have any make up at all...my clients love it, when I use it to do weddings and events.
Ok. I have not tried the mineral makeup line, but at Sally Beauty Supply there is a line called, ';Natural Rice'; dual wet and dry foundation. It is in a compact. It lasts all day. It covers well. For acne, you may need concealer or wetting the powder in this compact. It was like $10. It is amazing! Good Luck! God Blessa and Be Safe :)
I have tried bare minerals and I love it! It feels like you don't have anything on and it hides blemishes easily also my face has cleared up a lot since I started using it.
I use Signature Minerals myself. The end result looks very natural on my skin. It covers blemishes and acne really well and keeps my skin from getting all shiny and oily during the day. Its for sensitve and acne prone skin because it has no irritating ingredients its all natural .
