Does any one know about mineral make-up and which brands are the best?

I've seen commercials for some of the mineral make-up products available, such as Bare MInerals or Bare Escentuals or something like that. Since buying off TV isn't something I'm too confident about, any suggestions for quality brands/products I could buy at my local Target? :) I'd like to try is because liquid foundation has never worked out for me.

Bare Minerals is the best hands down. most of the mineral makeup from the drug stores is very cakey and doesn't work as well. it's definitely worth it to splurge on bare minerals.Does any one know about mineral make-up and which brands are the best?

i've never tried mineral make-up but i've heard its no good unless you have almost perfect skin without make up.


I don't think it covers very well.
I've seen those ads too and am not convinced about any of them; however, I do know about and use a brand that is for people w/sensitive skin - aularale.com/7002. Their mineral foundations come in liquid and creme to powder and I simply love it!
I have used Bare Minerals for about a 2 years now and I love it. I just recently saw it a Target and at my local grocery store.

Bare Minerals are the same as Bare Essentials... Bare Minerals is the actual make-up and Bare Essentials is the company name
I've heard good things about this brand and plan on trying them out. They're almost exactly like bare minerals, but they omit one ingredient that tends to irritate sensitive skin. They're also a bit more affordable, too. And you can get a sample to try first.

Everyone seems to be saying bare minerals I am acutally not a fan of this brand anymore. I am very fair skinned like pale white and the fairest shade they had made me orageish and the makeup kinda cakes a little bit throughout the day and looks shiney, I am in love with everyday minerals [www.everydayminerals.com] They have so many shades and the forumla is wonderful, plus it is sooooooooo much cheaper than bare minerals, plus there eyeshadows are amazing very rich in pigment and nice colors. Check it out, I was skeptical at first but not im in love! Ohhh, yeah your not going to be able to get this at your local Target but trust me its worth it!
Hi I have been using Avon's Mineral Powder Foundation which has been really good and at a resonable price. Just make sure it does not dry your skin out to much.
