How good is the ';bare mineral'; make-up?

bare minerals by bare escentuals is the absolute best make-up i've found in over 28 years. i have dry %26amp; sensitive skin, and it has improved the quality of my skin a lot. the company (traded on the stock market) developed bare minerals 30 years ago, has won several awards (elle, glamour allure, in-style, vogue, etc.), and is the only brand recommended by the national skincancer foundation, because it is actually good for the skin - so that tells you it is probably NOT orange, or itchy. btw, bismuth oxychloride is not a cheap filler, it is a natural colloidal mineral. bare minerals covers well, stays on all day long, and looks %26amp; feels completely natural. you can try it on at any ulta, sephora, macy's,or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it, before making a decision.How good is the ';bare mineral'; make-up?
I use Bare Minerals make-up. I was very skeptical at first. I wasn't sure how well it would cover and how long it would last on my oily face. However, the more I have used it, the more I like it. First, it covers pretty well. You can definitely built it up to cover quite a bit. Second, it lasts a long time. I was surprised that after a long day of teaching, it still looked like it did in the morning. :) I also feel like it controls my oil issue. I don't need to blot throughout the day anymore. Finally, I really think that it has helped my skin. I don't break-out as often as I used to, and I think it has something to do with the fact that I am not putting chemicals and other gross ingredients on my face every day. It may be a bit costly, but a little goes a long way, so it really does last a while. I'm very happy that I switched to using mineral make-up :)How good is the ';bare mineral'; make-up?
Itchy! I tried it, kinda orange and glowy and makes you itch!


Found out it's the bismuth oxychloride that causes it.


So I looked around on the net and tried some samples of some brands that don't have bismuth. My holy grail of mineral makeup is now LAminerals. I use both the Hollywood, and NoHoGlo formula. You should try it, you will LOVE it. And they don't makey you sign up for that stupid Autoshipment plan!
i use bare minerals and it is the best make-up i have ever had! Don't try the sheer cover though.. it's a scam!

I like it! It gives my face a pretty glow! But i don't believe it lived up to all the hype it gets but its still good make-up.
i use bare minerals make up. its really good! their make up is made from 100% bare minerals so its all natural. its oil free too so if you have acne, you can still use it and not get clogged pores. it costs a lot ut its totally worth it! you can get it at sephora or sephora.com
Its packed with Bismuth and cheap fillers that will clog your pores and irritate your skin. Its really just another advertising scam.
For us everyday working girls I dont think the high prices are worth it. I bought $125 of it thinking it was going to be the cure all fix all- NOT





Dont waste your money
it isnt good its fantastic i love the stuff. I have sensitive skin and i dont get spots when i use it. It doesnt feel cakey it just feels natural and you have a real glow about you. Buy it.
