That is because the third thing that causes breakouts is inflammation. If there is an ingredient you are allergic to in a makeup, you might not even know it but it will break you out. So the only way to know what is better for your skin is to try it. Don't just listen to the hype. Guess what's in bare escentuals natural makeup? Chemicals. so they say.............however I have not found this to be the case and having paid extra for mineral foundation I broke out in loads of pimples. In reality all this ';breathable'; make up labelling is just a money making device. Make-up in general is bad for your skin but as long as u wash it off at night it;s ok
Of course its better for your skin. You are clogging up your pores with all that oil and chemicals in the oil based make ups. Plus those make ups are impossible to wash off completely. Bare minerals is very good. You don't even feel like you have make up on and it lets your skin breathe and heal.
Mineral make-up is better for your skin, because it lets it breath and wont block the pores.
