The problem with the mineral makeup is you must read the ingredients list most if not all contain ARSENIC LEAD in the form called BISMUTH the ONLY product I recommend that does not contain this harmful ingredient is bee luscious liquid minerals its the best quality, that works effectively and does not contain bismuth. google bee luscious cosmetics.Is there a difference between bareminerals and other mineral make up?
Yo Odio Reread my answer and you'll see Ramone is the one who said Bismuth is arsenic lead, I said it wasn't, it's similar, but no where near as toxic. So how am I so wrong it's funny? Report Abuse
Not totally true Ramone. Bismuth's molecular and chemical structure resmbles lead and arsenic, however it is not. It's being used in place of lead and arsenic due to the obvious toxicity of lead and arsenic.
To answer the asker though, if you want a pure natural mineral only, I would go with bareMinerals as some budget alternative mineral makeup (Like Maybeline's Mineral line) contain a blend of synthetic and natural ingredients. Maybeline's line does just as good a job though, minus the synthetic ingredients added.
I dont have any experience with any other mineral make up besides bare minerals so i couldn't tell you. But i highly recommend Bare minerals. It's the only foundation i'll wear. It looks so natural and does its job, plus its good for your skin.
Sunny is so wrong it is almost funny. Bismuth is related to these minerals but are not the same. Bare Minerals contains bismuth as well as most other mineral makeup.
I do agree with Ramone though. Bee Luscious is the best.
i bet that the only difference in bareminerals and other mineral make-up is the shades. mineral make-up is fairly uniform.
bareminerals is the best makeup. it looks natural and covers up everything so your skin looks flawless. i highly recommend that
